About Robert "Bo" Parfet
Robert “Bo” Parfet attended The Kellogg School of Management, Colorado State University, and the University of Michigan, where he studied economics. In his early career, he worked in high finance. Possessing an adventurous streak since childhood, it is while working on Wall Street in 2003 that Robert “Bo” Parfet decided to climb the tallest mountain tops on all seven continents.
In 2010, Denali Venture Philanthropy, an investment company, was founded by Parfet and his wife Meredith. Denver, Colorado – specifically the City of Boulder on Denver’s outskirts – were picked for its headquarters. Though a native of Michigan, for Robert Parfet, Colorado is now home; he currently lives there with his family. The company invests in and supports various organizations that are trying to raise awareness and funds for various social and ecological issues around the world.
In addition, he has received several awards and honors for his work and philanthropy efforts. J.P. Morgan presented him with an award for his leadership. He also received the Presidential Volunteer Service award for doing 4,000 hours of volunteer work around the globe.
